bullet What makes Vestopia unique? How is it different from other online investment services or advisories?
Well, let's put it this way: do you know of another investment service that will notify you within 15 seconds of a transaction being placed by accomplished, real investors (at Vestopia we call them "Investment Directors").

There aren't any - there's only Vestopia.

Vestopia is the first and only service that allows you to view, in real time, actual transactions made by a real investor, er, Investment Director in his or her own portfolio - so you can, if you choose, immediately make the same trade(s) in your portfolio.

bullet How do I find a Vestopia Investment Director that's in tune with my investment goals and matches my investment style?
Lots of ways. Just head over to the Investment Director search page or comparison page.

There, you'll find a broad range of choices that match most investing styles.

All you need do then is begin investigating each Investment Director until you find the Investment Director(s) who is perfect for you by reading each Investment Directors personal profile, notes, published investment reports, personal blog... and client feedback.

You can also view his or her portfolio's historical track record, and the portfolio?s currently held positions.

It can't be any easier - or more comprehensive - than that.

bullet How did Vestopia find its Investment Directors, and how can I know they are the real deal?
We are exceptionally selective. There is a lot of blood, sweat and tears spent on the process of selecting the Investment Directors because we know that no good things come easily (especially in the world of investments). Firstly, we only source our talent from very prestigious and reliable organizations - both professional and educational. As such, we know that by merit of the fact they got in the door, they came from a good place. Second, all of them go through a number of "interview" rounds, and all of them are met personally by us.

In our assessment, we over-weight their investment track record and experience. Also, for what it's worth, almost all of the Investment Directors have either CFAs or MBAs, or both. Some have other very impressive graduate degrees, including PhDs. Many of them have other financial licenses, such as Series 7, and 63, to name a couple. Bottom line is that from many, come only a few, bright-shining stars.

bullet How will I be informed of an Investment Directors most recent transactions, and how soon after he or she concludes a transaction will I be notified?
In a number of ways, and in 15 seconds, respectively.

You can choose to be notified of your Investment Directors just concluded transaction either via e-mail, SMS, or by logging onto the Vestopia website.

So why spend hours or days researching a company on the internet, or paying thousand of dollars for professional advice?

We'll deliver what you really want to know (what a real Investment Director is buying or selling) within 15 seconds of it occurring!

bullet Am I obligated to buy or sell any given stock or option that the Investment Director has taken a position in?
Heck no. The choice is yours. We're just showing you what real Investment Directors are doing - not just saying - in real time.

Then, it's entirely up to you follow suit, or not. We're here to empower you, not compel or instruct you. You decide when or if to invest in any particular security.

bullet Why shouldn't I just contract with an outside Portfolio Manager?
We're not saying you shouldn't, if you want. But do you really want to spend thousands of dollars in annual fees to be... well, pretty much ignored?

We don't know of one licensed, professional portfolio manager who will personally alert you within 15 seconds of making a transaction... who will personally answer your comments... who will host teleconferences for you and send you investment reports?

But then again, you can always do both - hire a portfolio manager who'll trade your portfolio at will (typically requiring you to maintain a $100,000 balance), and subscribe to Vestopia - for reasonable price.

bullet Will the Investment Director help me 'fix' or adjust my portfolio in light of changing market or economic conditions?
Hmm... that's a tough one. Yes and no.

Vestopia's Investment Directors are certainly not permitted to offer investment advice - individually or collectively - via Vestopia's service platform.

But... by reading a Investment Directors blog, a subscriber will certainly be privy to a Investment Directors thinking on any given stock, sector, industry or any other investment or economic variable.

In addition, by monitoring your Investment Directors trades, and examining the reasons offered for making them in his or her blog, you will see and learn by example how you can best manage your own portfolio.

bullet Other than viewing an Investment Directors transactions in real time what other information will I, as a subscriber, have access to?
A bunch. We've built a whole interactive community experience just for you.

You'll be able to ask questions and interact with your Investment Director(s) via blog postings, and live chat sessions where discussions and lectures about topics ranging from trading strategies to stock performance will be held.

You'll also be invited to special online and offline events - all with the goal of improving your real world investment performance and knowledge.

Also, you'll see his portfolio holdings, in the aggregate, so you can understand his asset allocation in its proper context.

bullet Can I switch Investment Directors once subscribed, and will I be penalized?
Yes, you can switch investment directors and there is no penalty

bullet How do I know that the transaction alerts I receive haven't been cherry-picked by the Investment Director - that I'm seeing every transaction he or she makes, the good and the bad?
Great question. And here's the down and dirty answer:

Investment Directors must install special, proprietary software on a dedicated computer that they use to execute transactions and that is always connected to the internet.

This software will then directly and permanently interface with their brokerage accounts - and will transmit immediately and automatically - to you - every transaction made within these accounts, within 15 seconds of it occurring.

The software will also monitor and report to us everything that transpires within these brokerage accounts -24/7.

So if any Investment Director or third party attempts to disable or modify the software and its monitoring, reporting and transmission features, we at Vestopia are immediately alerted (through various backup reporting systems.) and will deal with it accordingly.

bullet How do I know that an Investment Director is not using Vestopia to 'pump and dump' stocks in his own 'off-site' portfolio?
Another excellent question. Legal and ethical conduct is an absolute priority at Vestopia.

Each Investment Director is contractually bound to ensure that no form of illegal or unethical market manipulation occurs. We will not become a conduit for rogue behavior. Accordingly, we have also built rigorous checks and balances to further ensure that both the letter and spirit of our strict guidelines are adhered to, and internalized, at all times.
